Researchers Coombs and Holladay classify a paracrisis as publicly visible crisis threat that charges an organization with irresponsible or unethical behavior, (Coombs & Holladay, 2012). I was tasked to identify and research a paracrisis, and then position myself as brand or social media manager to craft a response through a memo. To help Reebok manage the paracrisis, I’ve crafted sample social media responses they can use to reach the public effectively, in addition to holding organizational responsibility.
